A facility is always telling you something.

  • A cooler warms up.
  • A door stays open.
  • A compressor starts behaving differently.
  • Electrical current changes.

Most monitoring systems see those events separately. ChirpDat was built to bring the important signals together.

Monitor the facility. Not just the temperature.

Why ChirpDat exists

Temperature is often the symptom.

A temperature alarm is useful. It tells you a room is moving. It does not tell you what moved it.

When a cooler starts warming, the operator standing in front of it usually wants to know four more things. Was a door open? Was the compressor running? Did the electrical behaviour change? What was happening in the hour before?

Those are hard questions to answer when each signal lives in a different system, in a handwritten log, or is not being recorded at all. By the time anyone asks, the evidence has usually gone.

ChirpDat was built to bring those signals into one operational record.

What we monitor

We monitor the facility as a system.

EnvironmentTemperature, humidity, and the other conditions your plan sets limits on.
AccessDoors, open and closed state, and after-hours activity.
ElectricalCurrent, phase condition, and how the electrical system is behaving.
EquipmentCompressors, operating state, and equipment condition.

One timeline. One alerting system. One operational record.

A kit before it ships: provisioned, paired, bench-tested and labelled with the customer’s own zone names.
The philosophy

The sensor is only one piece.

ChirpDat is not a sensor reseller. The monitoring requirement decides the hardware, and we deploy industrial devices from several manufacturers where they fit the job — you are not locked into one vendor’s ecosystem.

The sensor is one component. What you are buying is the commissioned system around it.

How it was built

Built from an engineering and security mindset.

ChirpDat grew out of an engineering approach that treats monitoring as infrastructure, not as a collection of gadgets. The background behind it is networking, telemetry systems, observability and secure remote operation — disciplines where a system that cannot be seen, supported or recovered is not finished.

In practice that means connectivity, device identity, telemetry integrity, alerting, reporting, recovery and the operational record are treated as parts of one system rather than separate purchases. It is also why the monitoring link is independently managed: a plant’s production network should not be a dependency of the thing watching the plant.

The same assumption shapes what happens after go-live. Monitoring that nobody maintains stops being monitoring, so updates, patches and calibration documentation are part of the service rather than an upsell.

Proof

Built around real operating problems.

One customer came to us for a single thing: tell us when grid power goes down.

Monitoring the panel to answer that also put the electrical behaviour on the record beside the rooms. One phase was drawing 10.4 amps against 25.4 and 24.2 on the other two — an imbalance nobody was looking for, and one that a temperature alarm would never have surfaced.

That reading did not diagnose anything on its own. What it did was locate the condition at the panel rather than inside any one compressor, and put it somewhere it could be measured over time instead of guessed at.

They asked for an alert. They got a baseline.

After go-live

Then the record starts building.

Once ChirpDat goes live, individual readings become facility history. Operators can look back at the conditions surrounding an alarm instead of relying on memory, a handwritten note, or a single temperature value.

  1. 1Something changes
A room drifts, a door stays open, a phase moves.
  2. 2ChirpDat records it
Time-stamped, against the monitored point it belongs to.
  3. 3The right people are told
Warning to the team, critical escalating by voice call.
  4. 4The surrounding telemetry stays
Everything else that was happening is still there.
  5. 5It becomes the record
Available months later, for an inspector or an argument.
Who we are

Built in Colorado. Designed to work anywhere.

ChirpDat is a trade name of Roundtree Global Enterprise, LLC. Systems are provisioned remotely and ship ready for the facility; onsite deployment is available where hands-on installation or commissioning is the better fit.

Show us what matters in your facility.

Start with the coolers, doors, panels, compressors and equipment that matter most. We’ll show you how they become monitored points, how alerts work, and what the resulting operational record looks like.
